As a Brand Strategist, Jared developed a Brand Crafting Guide, a tool that helps businesses explore their brand identity and better understand customer relationships. This guide has helped clients create customer-centric strategies that improve market presence, increase brand loyalty, and attract ideal customers.
Jared’s project experience spans industries, including work on an internal tool for Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, where he was contracted by Anglicotech as a UI Designer to transform complex requirements for a vendor risk supply chain management tool into workflows, task flows, and interface design. The platform he worked on automates vendor risk assessments, passing risk analysis and reports to appropriate departments based on risk scores and other relevant factors, eliminating manual risk assessments.
Another of Jared’s significant accomplishments includes productizing an aerial data mapping and analytics package for PrecisionHawk, resulting in $1.5 million in sales through industry-specific web pages. This project exemplifies his ability to combine design expertise with strategic marketing to drive revenue. During his time in the drone industry, Jared also contributed to the Low Altitude Tracking and Avoidance System (LATAS), a platform designed to integrate drones into national airspace for beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations.
Jared’s enterprise UX leadership experience includes his role as UX Manager at the American Kennel Club (AKC), where he spearheaded accessibility improvements across 20,000 pages, increasing UX capacity by 25% through the integration of an enterprise design tool. He also established and led an ADA committee and increased e-commerce sales by $8,000 per month by implementing a quick-view UI feature. His branding and creative direction work was used for a content commerce platform called AKC Retrievist, and included ad and sweepstakes campaigns, emails, an extensive design guide, and a nationally televised video commercial.
As Design Lead at Xfinity Comcast Corporation, Jared played a key role in developing a global design framework that unified design operations, focusing on reducing user dead ends and improving cross-channel collaboration. He also led innovation workshops, producing concepts for fitness technology and contributing to the future of AR technology in the workplace.
Contracted by USA Football to work on NFL FLAG, Jared digitized the equipment ordering process for league organizers, streamlining workflows and improving efficiency. His work at USA Football included web design projects for programs such as Timex Heart of a Giant, the 2016 NFL Play Football campaign website, and ads for NFL teams and Super Bowl events.
Currently, Jared is building a wholesale cannabis commerce marketplace for a transport company. This multi-vendor system connects wholesalers with retailers and modernizes outdated sales and marketing methods. He also building out Lovelynd, an ecommerce platform supporting independent retailers in North Carolina by providing them with a local sales channel for consumers who prefer to shop small and local.
For Integration Social, a lead generation and communication tool, Jared led UI design and contributed to improving web presence through on-page SEO, enhancing the platform’s visibility and user engagement.
Jared has also directed creative strategies for Able Body Labor and its 22 sister companies, and worked with companies like REIN, where his design strategies helped secure $7.3 million in funding and form million-dollar partnerships.
After hands-on experimentation with AI tools, Jared combines modern AI-driven techniques with his strong foundation in design and strategy to create innovative, efficient solutions for clients across various industries. He has been a speaker on AI in marketing for Digital Marketing pros, holds certificates from Generative AI by Google, a guest on multiple podcasts for AI and creativity, a guest host for AI topics on LinkedIn Live events, and used AI text and image model tools in design workflows to reduce design time.
